Drawing Challenges: Mirror Images

 

For this project we were required to enter into a process of mark making on an atypical object. I started with a mirror, some paper, and a white board marker. Over time, this gradually shifted from literal drawing on the mirror to a more loose definition of mark making as I began to play around with different colors of construction paper. I began to incorporate the reflections of different objects and scenes that matched the layout and color scheme of the construction paper. Although this project ended in a much more abstract direction than I initially intended, I am happy with the overall product and how it turned out.
